MilkPEP and the NBA are teaming up to launch Get Fit By Finals, a new fitness and nutrition education initiative for teens. The program will inspire teens to take simple steps to improve physical fitness and provide free tools and information from NBA players, trainers and sports nutrition experts that can help teens move more and make healthier food and beverage choices, like drinking milk.
Involving some of the nation's most popular and admired athletes, "Get Fit By Finals" challenges teens to set health goals and gives them actionable advice to take small steps to reach those goals and increase their fitness level.
NBA and WNBA players serve as role models to help teens make positive changes to enhance their health. "Get Fit By Finals" encourages teens to make two small changes in their daily routine:
Over 40,000 cafeteria managers will receive a free "Get Fit" promotional kit shipped to their middle or high school that includes posters and banners showcasing milk-mustached NBA and WNBA players.
Schools that have signed up for the program are eligible to win cool prizes from the NBA, including a Grand Prize NBA-inspired gym makeover, and a VIP trip to the NBA All-Star game in Phoenix!
